For the safety of our guests, the Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center does not permit the following items into the facility.
All bags and persons are subject to a visual and metal detector screening. Screenings are a condition of entry and any refusal to be inspected may result in a refusal to admit. Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center encourages guests to NOT bring bags to the venue. If a guest chooses to bring a bag to the venue, they must be no larger than 14” x 14” x 6”.

- Firearms and/or concealed handguns

- Helium Balloons

- Umbrellas. Guests are encouraged to bring raincoats, pullovers or ponchos
- Illegal Drugs and any other illegal substances
- Inflatables
- Aerosol Cans: air horns, sunscreen, bug spray, silly string, hairspray, etc.
- Weapons of any kind
- Animals, with the exception of service animals
- Banners, signs and/or flags sizes vary by event.
- Beach balls, inflated balloons/Objects, and Frisbees
- Bikes, inline and roller skates, skateboards, scooters, shoes with wheels
- Cameras, with lenses longer than 8 inches or detachable lenses. No professional/flash photography
- Glass, plastic, metal containers and flasks
- Chains, studded bracelets, etc.
- Chewing Tobacco
- Clothing or items with offensive language or any other items deemed inappropriate by Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center
- Glitter/Confetti
- Coolers and ice chests
- Flammable liquids
- Mace (pepper or tear gas)
- Laptop/tablet computers, 2-way radios, flashlights
- Chairs/stools
- Flares, incendiary devices, smoke bombs, sparklers and fireworks of any kind
- Laser pointers and laser pens
- Noisemakers: airhorns, boom boxes, cowbells, drums, horns, megaphones, whistles, or any other item deemed as a noisemaker by Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center management
- Missile/projectile like objects
- Pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, flyers, etc. Unapproved by Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center management
- Poles and/or rods
- Portable heaters
- Seat Cushions
- Smoking in restrooms, seating areas, concourses, suites, clubs, etc. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas
- Tripods, monopods and selfie sticks
- Video and Audio recording devices
- Parcels and packages
- Permanent markers, spray paint, streamers
- Liquids of any kind greater than 10 oz. (perfume, nail polish, hand sanitizer, etc.)
- Any other item deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center management
Guests must return the item to his/her vehicles or throw the prohibited item in the trash. Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center reserves the right to confiscate any prohibited items and/or escort the guest from the building.
Please note this list is subject to change. Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center is a gun-free zone. The only persons allowed to bring firearms into Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center are credentialed local, state and federal law enforcement officers with proper ID.
